Jerusalem Center for Women

The Cooperation Society for Community Development, member of the ALF Palestine network, implemented awareness-raising workshops on economic and social rights in the villages of Salfit Governorate (Iskaka / Khirbet Qais / Farkha) for 50 women. At the end of the activity, economic initiatives were presented as examples to the women attending to serve as foundation for small projects and women’s cooperatives.

Three women's initiatives were selected, which are:

1. Design and sewing.
2. Fencing and cultivating half an acre with grapevines.
3. Manufacturing decorations for weddings and other occasions.

Each initiative targets three women, and therefore serves three families.
As part of the Children and Youth Forum program, CFCDA conducted activities for children to provide psychological relief through drawing and play therapy during the months of October, November, and December. For more information please visit CFCDA
