Volunteers at JCW Legal Unit
Currently at JCW: Volunteers are needed for the Legal Unit
JCW is currently recruiting full-time interns to work in its Legal Unit, for periods of three to six months.
Interested interns are expected to help in documenting violations, preparing Legal Reports, drafting Press Releases, assisting in the advocacy activities and field trips, as part of JCW’s goal towards protection and advancement of Palestinians women’s and children’s rights and status.
Interns should be familiar with (knowledgeable of) the Palestinian – Israeli conflict, Middle East issues, International Humanitarian Law and the International Human Rights.
JCW is unable to provide financial assistance to interns, and it is encouraged that interns seek alternative funding sources. JCW reimburses all work-related transportation fees in-country. JCW is willing to provide advisory support for interns who would like to arrange for academic credit and/or funding from their respective university. However, the intern should be responsible for making these arrangements.
We kindly requested that interested candidates submit their resume (CV) and a cover letter indicating their qualifications and the dates of their desired internship. Email: email: zahra@j-c-w.org, email: jcw@palnet.com
It is recommended that future interns submit their application at least three months prior to the suggested starting date of the internship.
