On the 63rd anniversary of the Nakba Monitoring Jerusalem is a monthly situation report denouncing the continuous human rights violations in occupied East Jerusalem, in the form of house demolitions, home evictions, discrimination policies and violence against Palestinians.

May issue includes a special report on violence against Palestinians over the past decades and a summary of the newly issued Annual Global Human Rights report by Amnesty International, stating a record on human rights violations perpetrated by Israel.

In this month’s feature story Annahid Abu R. shares her experiences and struggles as an East Jerusalemite. She has been in trail for the past 15 years to prevent her house from being demolished by the Israeli Municipality.
