Monitoring Jerusalem is a monthly situation report denouncing the continuous human rights violations by the Israeli Occupation forces in occupied East Jerusalem, in the form of house demolitions, home
evictions, discrimination policies and violence against Palestinians.
An independent report by a Foreign-Office backed delegation of British lawyers has condemned the ‘spiral of injustice’ to which Palestinian children are routinely subjected while in Israeli custody, recommending that conditions be brought swiftly into line with international law.
In this month’s feature story Rasha, an East Jerusalemite who has never been issued with the blue ID she is entitled to, recounts how JCWs training sessions and active participation in her local community have helped her deal with her sense of disenfranchisement.
