Monitoring Jerusalem continues denouncing human rights violations in occupied East Jerusalem, in the form of house demolitions, home evictions, discrimination policies and violence against Palestinian population with a special focus on children.

May issue: The Arab League has called UN High Commission for Human Rights, the Human Rights Council, the Committee Against Torture and the Red Cross in Geneva to intensify their contacts with the Israeli Government to put an end to the serious violations against the Palestinian prisoners in its jails and organize regular visits to the Israeli prisons.

In this month's feature story, Anaheed an East Jerusalemite woman, explains how she has learnt to have voice in her household thanks to the psychosocial trainings provided by JCW.
