Board
Rula Salameh – Chairperson
Ms. Salameh is a Middle East Liaison of Peace x Peace and the Education and Outreach Coordinator with Just vision. She has an international diploma in Computers in Business and Management and studied Sociology at Birzeit University in the West Bank. Ms. Salameh was the Project Coordinator for MEND (Middle East Non-violence and Democracy) for three years, before which she worked with Refugee Trust International. Ms. Salameh was one of the founders of the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation in 1993 and the first Palestinian Correspondent for the Qatari Media during the first Intifada.
Hilda Issa – Treasurer
Born and educated in Jerusalem, Ms. Issa attended Birzeit University and graduated with a BA in English. Shortly afterwards she joined the Palestinian Centre for Peace and Democracy where her interest in women’s rights and empowerment was enhanced, leading her to pursue a Masters degree in Gender, Development and Law in Birzeit University, in addition to a Diploma in Accounting from Palestine Technology College.
Jihad Abu Zneid– Vice Chairperson
Ms. Abu Zneid is a member of the Palestinian Legislative Council and President of the Shu’fat Refugee Camp Women’s Center. She has extensive experience working with refugees and Palestinian prisoners in addition to conducting research, and working on welfare and Human Rights projects with organizations such as Al-Haq and Amnesty International. Ms. Abu Zneid holds a BA in Psychology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and a MA in American Studies from Al Quds University.
Fatimeh Radaydeh
Ms. Radaydeh is the director of the Gender Unit in the Ministry of Women’s Affairs. She holds a Masters degree in Sustainable Development from Al-Quds University and is an administrative member of the General Union of Palestinian Women. A feminist activist for many years, Ms. Radaydeh strongly believes in the ability of women to be powerful agents of change in creating a just and peaceful world.
Nida Zalatimo
Ms. Zalatimo has worked on numerous media and development projects aimed at creating an enabling environment for women’s participation in economic life. Ms. Zalatimo is the founder of the Jerusalem Women Organization Network, and together with numerous Palestinian women established the Palestinian Women Entrepreneurs Network. Currently, she is the Director of the Jerusalem Women’s Association, an organization training Palestinian women in business skills and enterprise development.
Fatimeh T. Natsheh
Ms.Natsheh holds a B.A in Law from Al-Quds University and has vast experience practicing family, status and civil law. Ms. Natsheh has also worked in the Ministry for Agriculture and the Union for Palestinian Youth. Currently preparing her Masters in Law from Al-Quds University, Fatme is actively involved in Palestinian civil society through her work with the Jerusalem Center for Women; providing legal guidance for the Association for Women’s Affairs; and as a member of the board of trustees for Amwag radio and television.
Sileen Muhtaseb
Ms. Muhtaseb has been involved in numerous civil society initiatives such as Maschom Watch, and training initiatives for Palestinian lawyers working in the Israeli military courts. Ms. Muhtaseb holds a BA in Law from Al Quds University and a MA in Law from Cairo University. Previously working in the Palestinian Investment Promotion Agency, she is currently completing a PhD in Law.
Khitam Eddik
Ms Eddik is the Programs modulator at the Palestinian broadcasting corporation. She holds a BA in English literature from Jordan University and a Diploma in Media Skills. Ms. Eddik also currently serves as the Director of the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation.
Suheir Abd el Fattah Audeh
Ms. Abd el Fattah Audeh is an expert in health and nutrition. As the head of the Nutrition Department in Amera Alia hospital in Hebron, she has over 20 yeas experience in her field. Ms. Adb el Fattah Audeh is also an active member of the International Relations Committee of the Women’s Al Feneq Center in Bethlehem, a regular volunteer at The Ebdaa Center for Health and The Badil Center for refugees.
